Nicaragua Home Building
This year, Far Out Community has chosen to support the Women’s Faith and Hope Cooperative in the community of Jiquilillo, Nicaragua.
We've set a goal of $20,000 which will fund 1 of the 10 homes planned for this program.
We will be travelling to Nicaragua multiple times in 2017 and 2018, in order to help with home building projects, as well as participate in programs focused on education, health, food, physical activity and the environment.
Please help us raise funds to build an adequate and safe home for a family in need through the women's cooperative in Jiquilillo, Nicaragua.

About the Women's Faith and Hope Cooperative
Nicaragua has one of the highest housing deficits in Central America with over 78% of the population living in inadequate homes or are homeless. Lack of adequate housing causes families to live with a constant burden of uncertainty, stress and fear. Safe and decent shelter provides an opportunity for families to break generational cycles of poverty and build better, healthier, and more stable lives.
Speroway is raising funds to support the relocation and safe and adequate housing for ten low-income families. Through your gift you will be helping to support these ten women and their children who are apart of the Women's Faith and Hope Cooperative in the community of Jiquilillo.

About Speroway in Nicaragua
Speroway works in the rural Nicaraguan communities of Jiquilillo, Los Zorros, Padre Ramos and the community of El Limonal near Chinandega. Activities and initiatives are pursued in collaboration with these communities, and in partnership with other participating organizations with a shared vision of alleviating poverty through improved education, accessible healthcare, and enhanced self-employment opportunities.
